THE WIZ

THE WIZ

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Wiz celebrates the legacy of the 1978 cult-classic musical through a series of posters created for Universal’s 2025 theatrical re-release.
The artwork reimagines the film’s iconic visuals — blending nostalgia, NYC culture, and cinematic surrealism to introduce the story to a new generation.

I collaborated with Justin Simien and Culture Machine to develop the full key art collection — restoring original illustrations, crafting new compositions, and designing three distinct poster looks inspired by the film’s most memorable moments.
